In the Netherlands I've noticed some of the animals are different. For instance there are lots more sheep and in the spring there are tons of little lambs who are very white because they haven't had the chance to get dirty yet! There is also a weird type of bird that lives here called the coot. It looks kind of like a black duck with a white stripe on its head and it floats along the canals and then dives all the way under the water. One thing I have noticed is that there are almost no squirrels or chipmunks here. It also seems that they only have mostly pine trees and almost no other types of trees. When you visit you should also make sure to look for magpies (large black birds with white stripes), which shouldn't be hard because there are so many of them.
