Hello, my name is Karlan! I am a nine year old American and I normally live in Pennsylvania, but in the Spring of 2000 I was living in the Netherlands. I was there because my mom was a biology professor on sabbatical at the Leiden University. In the morning I went to Dutch school and inthe afternoon my tutor Nicole taught me. I made this guide book because it is fun and I thought it would be nice to allow other kids to experience Holland without having to be here.
