The Parliament in The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government (the capital is actually Amsterdam). One of the things you will see there is the place where the Queen (Queen Beatrix at the moment) makes speeches. It is called the Ridderzaal, or Hall of Knights. Also inside is the queen's throne. In another building you will see a family tree of the whole royal family since the 12th century and a movie about the election of the government. The Dutch government is a monarchy (which means one ruler). The Parliament is interesting to go to, but I recommend calling first because when I visited there was a meeting going on and so we could not see everything.
