The Organ Museum in Utrecht is mostly about street organs, but has some other examples of organs too. There are two types of organs. Electric organs use a music book with holes in it, and when metal pins come down, a circuit is completed and activates certain notes. Pipe organs do not have metal pins, but instead they have air blowing through pipes according to the holes. Only some pipes get air, so only some notes play. While you are there you should see the music books they use, and you should also get a guided tour so that you can hear all the organs play.
