The Kasteel de Haar is a 13th century castle that was built and lived in by Baron Etienne van Zuylen van Nijevelt van de Haar. It's the biggest castle in the Netherlands, but you can only see eight rooms of it. With the tour you will see the kitchen, dining room, inner court (now covered with a roof), banquet hall, knight hall, and library. There is a lot more, but it is closed off. The whole thing is closed in September because the present family still comes to live there for one month.
