Hello, my name is Karlan! I am a nine year old American and I normally live in Pennsylvania, but right now I am living in the Netherlands. I'm here because my mom is a biology professor on sabbatical at the Leiden University. In the morning I go to Dutch school and in the afternoon my tutor Nicole teaches me. I am making this guide book because it is fun and I thought it would be nice to allow other kids to experience Holland without having to be here.
